The Pi Network Core Team has announced significant updates to its .pi Domains Auction initiative, originally launched during Pi Day 2025. This Web3 identifier system is designed to serve as a foundational utility for Pi-powered applications, digital storefronts, and services, leveraging community participation to enhance real-world commerce integration.
Since its launch, over 200,000 bids have been recorded, with 100,000 occurring in the first week alone—demonstrating strong ecosystem engagement. The domains function as portable digital identifiers compatible with external wallets and browsers, mirroring conventional crypto domain interoperability. Chrome and Safari access will be enabled through ''.pinet.c'' resolution.
